Sequoia Shiloh Shepherds of Maryland and Imladris Shilohs of Maryland/West Virginia are thrilled to announce the pairing of "Sequoia's Sassafrass-Sassy" and "OceanState Elessar of Imladris-Strider." This breeding promises to produce incredibly healthy puppies for showing, breeding and as loving family companions with potential for herding, dog therapy, dog agility, and obedience work.
These plush puppies should have a spectacular variety of vibrant coloration including dark sables and duals. Their temperaments should be medium soft to medium. We are expecting good health, great hips, beautiful broad heads, good height and good movement. Both "Sassy" and "Strider" have been described as being extremely gentle, easy-going, and laid back. Both are cuddle bugs (official dog term!) and even share the bed with their owners (move over mom!).
Sassy is as happy-go-lucky as any dog we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is daddy's girl and jumps in his lap everytime she can to prove it. She has been a wonderful momma dog to all of our puppies (her's and Sequoia's) helping to raise them. Sassy loves to move the pack around the yard, herding is in her blood. She also loves children, our pet sitter brings his 4 year old over just to play. She is a joy to be with and always brings laughter with her.
Strider has an awesome, laid-back personality. He loves attention and will come for a pat and a hug regularly. Although a very big boy, he is very gentle-natured and is good with small animals and children. Strider has his breed championship and has passed his herding instinct test.
