My love of Shepherds began with my grandmother’s German Shepherd Dog (GSD). It has grown into a passion for both GSD and the rare breed, Shiloh Shepherd. I have over 27 years of dog experience including animal shelters and rescue work, training and breeding. Our home is located in , Maryland. We take our dogs and breeding very seriously. We do not make our living from selling puppies or rehoming rescues. The only reason we breed is to improve the breed. We are located about 30 minutes from Baltimore and Annapolis, and 1 hour from DC at the BWI Airport. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged!

 

Lovingly Home Raised…

All of my dogs and puppies live in my home after all, they are part of my family. We have a large 1 acre enclosed yard for them to play in. We do not use outside kennels. All puppies are lovingly hand raised and receive professional veterinary care. We work with Kreature Komforts Pet Sitting Service for all of our needs to include specialized puppy care. They are part of the "family. The puppies are also temperament tested and conformation evaluated at 8 weeks. Puppies are available occasionally, no more then 1 or 2 litters per year. Our Standards…

We are committed to exceeding the highest standards set by the Shiloh Shepherd breed founder. Our mission is to work together with other Shepherd breeders to create dogs that are healthy, strong and gentle in nature – the perfect family companion. My Shiloh Shepherds are NKC registered. All show and breeding Shepherds are PennHIP and OFA certified for Hips and Elbows. They are OFA Heart and Eye certified. They are also tested for other potential medical problems when needed. Most of my dogs are CGC with gunfire and Therapy Dog Inc. certified. We show our Shilohs in ISSDC, NKC, NCA, ARBA, Rarities, and other shows throughout the East Coast.

Sequoia Shiloh Shepherds breeds both companion and show/breeding quality Shepherds. It is crucial to our breeding program and our relationships with our owners that we monitor the development of each and every puppy. This includes their progeny too. With this information, we are able to provide each owner with guidance and help, while improving our breeding program to the betterment of our breeds. We are responsible for providing you with a puppy that comes as close a possible to the breed standard. We will provide you with support and guidance for the life of your dog. All we ask of you, is that keep us informed of the health and status of your dogs in a timely manner.
